The Cardinal House

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and I –
I took the ones less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

First of all, we chose 'House' because we plan to homeschool our son.

Secondly, we chose 'Cardinal' because for the 9 months before our son was born, a cardinal would visit us very frequently. Never before did we have such regular visits from the beautiful bird. And, even after moving from one state to another, cardinals continued to visit us. This bird has therefore become somewhat of a significance in our lives.

Thirdly, the word ‘cardinal’ also brings to mind something of utmost importance. We believe that our family is the most important part of our lives. Educating ourselves and our son is all encompassing – not only for the mind, but for the heart and the body.

Welcome to The Cardinal House blog. We hope you enjoy reading about us and what we do!
